Climate Save Projects
Bellstedt, Take a forest sponsorship
1. Protecting biodiversity: Forests are habitats for a variety of animal and plant species. By taking on a sponsorship, you are helping to protect and preserve the forest and its biodiversity.
2. Preservation of the ecosystem: Forests play an important role in maintaining the natural balance. By financially supporting sponsorships, measures can be taken to preserve and protect the forest ecosystem.
3. Climate protection: Forests are crucial for global climate protection. They absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and produce oxygen. By sponsoring a forest, you help to maintain the carbon cycle and combat climate change.
4. Education and awareness: Sponsorship of forest land makes it possible to promote education and awareness programs. This increases awareness of the importance of forests and sensitizes people to the need to protect nature.
5. Personal connection to nature: By sponsoring a forest, you can establish a personal connection to nature. You receive regular updates on the state of the forest and can actively participate in events and activities. This creates a feeling of connection and responsibility for nature.
6. Sustainable use: Financial support for sponsorships can promote sustainable use methods in the forest. This means that the forest can continue to be used economically, but at the same time is protected and preserved.

Makariv, Protection of one of the last untouched forest in Europe
The regional practice of clear-cutting and similar logging practices in the region harms the forest ecosystem. Our climate protection project contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and natural heritage by supporting the management of protected areas.
On an area of 26,533.1 hectares, this project reduces emissions by avoiding the release of carbon associated with logging, road construction, and other forestry activities.
In addition, nature conservation measures are implemented to protect the ecosystem and enhance habitat, benefiting biodiversity and contributing to the preservation of a healthy and functioning forest ecosystem.

Capadokien, Towards carbon neutrallity trough sustainable forest management
There is promising potential to introduce an innovative carbon reduction program that focuses on the preservation and sustainable use of lush vegetation. This includes promoting reforestation projects, protecting existing forests and the responsible use of natural resources.
By preserving and restoring the forests in Capadokien, we can create effective carbon sinks that help reduce the CO2 burden in the atmosphere. In addition, initiatives to promote renewable energy and increase energy efficiency can make an important contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Kiri Tree (Paulownia), The fastest-growing tree
Paulownias are among the fastest-growing tree species on earth and are characterized by a very beautiful appearance.
The Paulownia masters the challenges of climate change - for example through high CO2 binding or the deep and far-reaching root system.
