Climate Protection Project Makariv
The regional practice of clear-cutting and similar regional deforestation practices is damaging the forest ecosystem in Ukraine. Our climate protection project contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and natural heritage by supporting the management of protected areas.
This project will save emissions on an area of 23,678.3 hectares in Makariv by avoiding the release of carbon associated with logging, road construction and other forestry activities.
Furthermore, conservation measures are carried out to protect the ecosystem and improve the habitat, which benefits biodiversity and contributes to maintaining a healthy and functioning forest ecosystem.
